Students, faculty and staff came together at the Hope Club to celebrate and honor this year’s award recipients.

To promote partnership between local community members, organizations and researchers at Brown, the School of Public Health has established new research awards, with inaugural funding for projects impacting Rhode Island’s children and older adults.

The award is made annually to support undergraduate, graduate, and medical students undertaking research in health services, with a focus on health status and access to health care by poor and underserved populations.

To recognize excellence among its students, staff and faculty, the Brown SPH community gathered together to cheer and congratulate its members.

Established in 2021, The Brown University School of Public Health Alumni Impact Award is presented annually to one exceptional master’s or doctoral alumnus or alumnae who is making a significant impact on their community and/or in their field.
