University resources and programs related to biking to and around campus. Indoor bicycle parking is available in the 121 South Main garage.

Planes, trains, and automobiles ... and boats

Amtrak offers high-speed service to Boston and New York, as well as the rest of the United States. The Amtrak station is located in downtown Providence, less than a half hour walk from campus.
Boston Commuter Rail offers several trains per day to Boston. The MBTA station is located in downtown Providence, less than a half hour walk from campus.
You don't need a car to get around Providence! But if you have one, here is information about Brown parking permits

Seasonal service between Providence, Bristol, and Newport. The Providence Ferry Terminal, at 25 India Street, is less than a half hour walk from campus.
The ferry to Block Island leaves from Narragansett, which is about an hour drive from campus.
