The Clinical Laboratory Core (CLC) provides participant safety monitoring, biological specimen collection and processing, biomarker assays, regulatory compliance, and research operations support, enabling high-quality and cost-effective human laboratory and clinical trials data collection.

The Survey, Qualitative and Applied Data (SQuAD) Research Core offers full-service research support for the applied research community. Services span proposal and research design, instrument development, participant and project management, data management, statistical and qualitative analysis, results dissemination, and training.

The Recruitment, Engagement and Community Health (REACH) Core is a team of recruitment and marketing experts. We offer a paid service to efficiently manage your enrollment goals to ensure they are met on time.

The CAAS Data Core supports design and implementation of study data systems and tracking, data summarization and advanced programming, data merging and formatting of analysis-level datasets. This core provides services to all SPH faculty and trainees, not just CAAS-affiliated. 

The Data Management/Programming core offers technical skills to contribute to design, conduct, management and analysis of a variety of health services research through the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research (CGHCR). Services span designing studies by preliminary analysis, constructing/managing data by linking multi-layered data from various sources of the US healthcare system types, statistical programming and analysis and interpretation and reporting of results.

The Regulatory core within the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research (CGHCR) offers both pre- and post-award full-service support to the health services research community surrounding regulatory and data access issues.  Services include the preparation, submission, and maintenance of IRB applications and data use agreements; and data and cost projections for studies planning to use data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).  The Core has particular expertise in the use of HIPAA-protected data; CMS data; the NIA LINKAGE Program; SEER-Medicare; and the use of both Brown and commercial IRBs.
