US News Ranks Brown School of Public Health among Top 10%

US News & World Report’s 2020 edition of Best Graduate Schools ranks the Brown University School of Public Health 17th out of the 177 eligible schools and programs of public health in the United States.

This is the School’s first year being ranked by US News since achieving full accreditation as a School of Public Health in 2016.

Of ranking in the top 10% nation-wide, Dean Bess Marcus said “It’s a wonderful accolade that joins our consistent top 10 ranking in NIH funding, and our undergraduate program’s top 10 ranking by College Factual.”

“Obviously this doesn’t happen overnight,” she added, crediting founding Dean Fox Wetle’s hard work and dedication for making this achievement possible. “I thank Fox for positioning the School for success and enabling us to join such elite company so soon,” Dean Marcus said.
